Mysterious...luminous...sparkling...

Starry Night - Vincent Van Gogh (1889)

It was Vincent Van Gogh who said "I often think that the night is more alive and more richly coloured than the day." Van Gogh painted many scenes featuring night skies with glowing stars hanging above a serene landscape; one of the most famous being Starry Night. The sky has recently been a source of inspiration to some designers especially in print design - which I throughly encourage because what better way is there to brighten up a gloomy and rainy winter's day than with a fun, colourful and very unique dress.

Here are some dresses inspired by the night sky to bring the vivacity and brilliance of the night into the more modest day.
